Nice pics Paul. This pics shows the twisted entrance to this black trail. Check out Kutch in the background in Barney Very Happy.

Just emailed Craig. IMO, if he is able to lease the land to keep it open, yet still be able to allow us access during off hours, it is a win win situation. The use of the land will become more stable, allowing some confidence that it will still be there after the hard work is put into cutting some trails.

We are already talking about going up again on Sunday the 14th to cut some more and do some wheeling. Stay tuned to the forum if you are interested in going alone.

Pics looks awesome. I agree with Jim, tell him to lease it so he is more stable. Most people will be there weekends or after work anyway.

I need to add this picture. rickr and I went down the road on the eastern edge. Easy enough going down, but with the snow and all I could not make it back up. 4-wheel drive, locked front & rear, and I was going a whole lot of nowhere. Needed 3 consecutive winch pulls to get up that slope. Embarassed

Thanks a bunch to rickr for running my anchor point up the hill three times. He's probably never gonna go exploring with me again. Laughing

With all of the xtra snow falling today, I won't be cutting trails on Sunday. You can't see what needs cutting with all of the snow.

The entrance is kinda narrow. My trailer has a 78 wide deck and with the snow on the ground it made it worst. Hug the DS going in, there are a few rocks on the other side you probly wont see with the snow.

I left the Jeep at home and drove the Tundra up just to find the place. Well, I found it. Driveway was long and narrow. What the heck do you do if your coming in with a trailer and someone's coming out? Yep, full of snow. No one was there with a 4x4. I met the owner, who was very nice, and got my form. Can't wait to go up later in the spring!!!

If the snow isnt too bad for the weekend I'll be up for some trail cutting. If it keeps up though it may be spring till we can. Rolling Eyes Anyone else up for it? And is anyone trying to map it out? Craig said just grab some people and cut some trails. Seems like it should be more organized if he wants a shooting range and a designated camping area?

When I talked with the owner on Sunday, the shooting range is not in the plans anymore.

Due to the snow or the trail itself? I refuse to get another locker till I can afford a Ox or something of the sort. Im not going the lunchbox locker route anymore.
